Jeff Yost briefly introduced himself and thanked the council. Parks Director Maggie Stuckey Ross presented the mayor's nominee Mark Orr for the Veterans Memorial Garden Advisory Board; Orr described his long community involvement. The clerk called roll votes for the consent items and the motions were carried 6–0.
