The council approved an amendment to the Falcon Heights annexation and zoning agreement to allocate Lincoln on the Move sales‑tax funds to a road improvement tied to the annexation.
Abby Littrell, city law, told the council the amendment allocates "$515,000 of Lincoln on the Move, sales tax dollars to the $1,000,000 project" at Northwest 44th and West Holdridge. Developer representative Peter Kat thanked city leadership and voters for making the funds available and said the allocation helps deliver affordable housing by avoiding additional upfront borrowing.
