Kermit ISD trustees approve more than $1.3 million in facility and security work

Kermit ISD trustees on Sept. 5 approved a series of construction and security contracts and a contractor payment totaling roughly $1,317,506.42. The board met in a special called session at the Administration Building and passed each motion unanimously.
Superintendent Schneider recommended approval of payment application #5 to Hellas Construction, Inc. for $29,659.95 for the Kermit Junior High track and turf project and recommended multiple Merit Roofing and 5G Security proposals for district facilities. Trustees moved and seconded each item, and the board voted in favor of all measures. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ramiro Antillon at 6:05 a.m. and adjourned at 6:37 a.m.
