Kermit ISD board approves consent agenda, minutes and agenda; no public comments

At the start of the Sept. 11 meeting, Board President Lee Lentz-Edwards confirmed a quorum and compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Trustee Ramiro Antillon moved to approve the posted agenda and Trustee Lorina Lujan seconded; the motion passed unanimously. During Citizen's Forum, minutes record 'No one' and no public speakers were recorded.
Later in the meeting the board approved the consent agenda, which included minutes of prior meetings, a budget amendment, investments and the bank accounts report, and approval of the check payments list excluding checks numbered 59470, 59476 and 59533. Trustee Lujan moved approval of the consent agenda items and Trustee Hardaway seconded; the motion was approved with a favorable unanimous vote.
