The Town Board on April 6 amended a prior 2026 commercial license for Venture Out (c/o Matthew Stromberg) to add conditions governing access to the water and operations on Town property.
Conditions added in Resolution 2026-165 require a $500 application fee, proof of workers' compensation coverage (or exemption), a 13.3' x 30' footprint (400 square feet) with a 30' marking established by the Highway Department, tent size limited to 10' x 10', storage to remain within the footprint, no guaranteed parking, and a four(5)-foot wide access path to the water that cannot be used for storage and must remain unobstructed. The license is limited to the period May 1–Nov 30, 2026, with hours 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. The license requires execution of a Commercial Use License and is subject to revocation by the Town.
