Theresa Masin of Hamptons Environmental Land Planning told the Board the "revised dock length is a benefit to the wetlands," but she recommended against the use of CCA-treated materials because of potential environmental impacts in a slow-moving waterbody and suggested minimizing impacts through retractable or removable steps and avoiding utilities or lighting on the structure. Applicant Robert Fagen read a letter asserting riparian rights and asked that the application be reviewed under the prior dock code; he confirmed no water or electric will be installed. A resident participating by Zoom spoke in favor, describing the dock as modest; Ms. Ingrid Fagen said she would consider accommodating Board preferences, including removable ladders or retractable steps. The Board closed the hearing.
