Board President Lisa Andrews Alpe also certified that the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code §551.041) had been complied with in connection with public notice of the meeting. Two public commenters, Brian Muecke and Amy Andrews Cone, spoke regarding the canvass item; the meeting record notes their participation but does not include the substance of their remarks.
