"I just wanna let you guys know, we've started the holiday food drive," staff said during the meeting, urging commissioners to post the flyer on Nextdoor, Instagram and to hand out copies to neighbors and downtown shops. Commissioners discussed coordination with nearby schools and a concurrent food drive at Blue Sky House High School; the group pledged to compete by collecting more donations and to press KCAT to post the flyer on social channels.
