The Mason Consolidated Schools Board of Education on Aug. 6 accepted a $65,050 quote from Monroe Plumbing and Heating Company for a Filter First Fixture Replacement and Installation Project. The motion was made by Grodi and supported by Nehrig; the vote was 5-0 in favor.
The board also approved facilities-related purchases and repairs: acceptance of a Monroe Plumbing quote for replacement of the weightroom rooftop unit (RTU) (minutes record authorization but do not list an amount), and two purchases for elementary food-service equipment — a Hobart-model dishwasher from TriMark SS Kemp at $41,251 and a True Manufacturing three-door refrigerator from HPS at $7,728.38. Each item was approved by unanimous vote and funded as indicated in the minutes (the dishwasher and refrigerator from the food-service excess fund balance).
