The board approved an intermunicipal agreement (IMA) with Westchester County and Con Edison to install four charge-point units (two kiosks with two ports each) in the Cedar Street parking lot. Jim Palmer said Ashaki has reviewed contractor designs and the village hopes to install the first phase before year end if schedules permit.
Palmer said the project cost is roughly $72,000 but will be at no cost to the village; users will pay for electricity and vehicle owners will need an EV permit from the village. "Again, that's that's 70, almost $72,000 project will be at no cost to the village," Palmer said. The board approved the IMA by voice vote.
