The Rockdale Independent School District Board of Trustees convened a special meeting on Nov. 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Rockdale ISD Conference Center. After the call to order and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Board President Charles Miles, the board recorded that no members of the public were registered for the public forum.
Trustee Julia Cardona moved, and Trustee Jason Barcak seconded, a motion to enter closed session at 6:03 p.m.; the minutes record the motion carried with all seven trustees voting in favor. The board returned to open session at 7:09 p.m. Later, Trustee Amy Casas moved and Trustee Janice Keen seconded a motion to adjourn; the minutes record the meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m. All formal motions recorded in the minutes carried 7-0.
