The Williamston Board of Education reviewed a set of proposed overnight and out-of-state field trips for middle- and high-school students and moved the items to the Oct. 6 regular meeting for action.
Proposed trips included the Middle School Quiz Bowl National Championship (May 8-10, 2026); Band & Choir to Cedar Point (May 29, 2026); Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Conference (March 12-15, 2026) and BPA National Conference (May 6-10, 2026); Model United Nations events including the Great Lakes Invitational (Dec. 3-6, 2025) and university conferences in January and February 2026; WHS Quiz Bowl National Championship (Apr. 24-26, 2026); and a German Exchange trip (June 10-22, 2026). Board members asked clarifying questions that were answered by Superintendent Dr. Adam Spina before the items were moved to action.
