Board hears bond and facilities update as softball complex, pool HVAC and Explorer designs progress

Dr. Spina said the Softball Complex is on pace to be completed in March 2026 and staff are preparing to bid the Community Pool HVAC unit, noting the price of the unit has doubled since the district’s Treasury application; bids are expected to be available for the board in October. He also described ongoing decisions for the Explorer designs, including exterior wall colors, gym floor striping and which doors will receive card reader access.
Board members asked clarifying questions during the update; no motions were taken on these items at the meeting.
