Richland R‑I board approves consent agenda and several unanimous actions

The Richland R‑I Board of Education convened April 8 and approved a slate of routine and action items by unanimous votes. President Clinton Corlew presided as motions on the consent agenda, a financing resolution, salary schedules, career and step ladder plans, and textbook purchases were each approved 7–0.
The meeting record shows Mr. Jeremy Conner moved to approve the Consent Agenda (minutes, agenda, bills and the superintendent’s expense reimbursement) with Ms. Hollie Wheeler seconding; “there being 7 ‘yeas’ and 0 ‘nays’, the President declared the motion carried.” The board also approved a resolution to sell Series 2026 Lease Certificates of Participation with L.J. Hart & Company, adopted the 2026–2027 salary schedule, approved district career and step ladder plans for 2026–2027, and authorized the purchase of U.S. and World history textbooks and one-year online resources at $3,173.46 and $2,405.43 respectively.
