The board approved minutes (executive, work session and regular minutes of Sept. 8) and a five-year mutual-aid agreement intended to coordinate emergency response and mutual support with neighboring communities. Officials noted Yonkers provides specialized resources, including K-9s and tactical teams, often useful to the village.
Resolutions accepted a $120,000 donation from the Bronxville Historical Conservancy for phase 2 of historic street-sign upgrades and adopted a right-of-way tree-planting policy backed by a $75,000 village contribution and a $75,000 Conservancy match (total $150,000) to subsidize larger-caliper trees. The board also authorized using BPS BPAS (Syracuse) for required actuarial valuation of post-employment benefits.
Most approvals were by voice vote; motions were moved and seconded on the floor. The board set follow-up implementation tasks, including posting policies and project plans on the village website and coordinating vendor selection for sign replacement and tree plantings.
