School leaders outline AI guidance, professional development and controlled tools for students

Jody noted the district implemented Conmigo for grades 6–12 as a controlled AI tool designed to support teachers and students without generating unverified content, and stressed training to differentiate 'whole language' AI from controlled models. Branko added that vendors increasingly offer adaptive testing and tools that support teachers' use of data, and said the district will return with additional information about AI policies and professional-development plans.
