Malone ISD board approves personnel and student-safety appointments for 2024–25

Among the appointments recorded, the board voted 6–0 to "Approve Windy Schwartz as the Financial Officer for the 2024-2025 school year" and to "Approve Windy Schwartz as Homeless and Unaccompanied Youth Liaison for the 2024-2025 school year." Sharon Campbell was approved as Anti-Bullying Coordinator and Truancy Prevention Facilitator, and Leonard Buffe was approved as Athletic Director. The board also appointed a School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) and the Athletic Concussion Oversight Team for the school year; each motion passed unanimously.
The slate of approvals consolidates administrative and student-safety responsibilities ahead of the school year. Several motions were moved and seconded by trustees Daisy Chavez and Justin Dudik and recorded as carried 6 to 0.
