Several residents and a business manager told the Marlborough Town Board on Nov. 25 that they support the Restore NY grant application to restore the house at 160 North Road in Milton. Peggy Kent and Maddie Stewart (identified in the record as manager at the Locust Grove) said they were pleased the historic space could be updated to provide event and tasting space for farm operations.
James Garofalo thanked the applicants for pursuing funding and Steve Jennison said he fully supports the project and believes it will help future generations maintain farms and agricultural businesses. Those public comments were recorded during the hearing; no opposition or negative comments are recorded in the minutes provided.
