Town of Marlborough names Tom Schroeder Outstanding Resident of 2024

The Town of Marlborough presented Tom Schroeder with the 2024 Outstanding Resident plaque during the Dec. 9 meeting. Councilwoman Sessa read a nomination letter from Arlette Zambito that described Schroeder as a veteran and long-time volunteer who organized the Memorial Day parade, helped assemble a playground at Cluett Schantz Memorial Park in 2020, and assisted with cemetery restoration work.
Supervisor Corcoran read the plaque and presented it to Schroeder, who thanked the town and said it "was a pleasure to do what he does and [he is] proud of his community." The board held photos and applause followed the presentation.
