A location manager for an independent feature asked permission to film in the town on Oct. 21–22; Supervisor Corcoran read the request from Austin Siegert and the board discussed a permit fee. The film plans called for limited background actors (about 15) and scenes in green‑room and stage areas. The board set the film permit fee at $250 per day and approved the motion by unanimous vote.
Board members also discussed creating a formal fee schedule for filming permits going forward and asked Councilwoman Sessa to research comparable fees in other jurisdictions.
