Students and staff highlight Mountain House High achievements; new trustee sworn in

Students from Mountain House High School described this year’s ASB activities and upcoming events, and Mountain House SkillsUSA leaders summarized outreach and competitive achievements.
Katarina Espinosa, ASB president, said the leadership class focused on inclusion and growing traditions: "We started off the school year with our welcome back rally, and we followed that shortly after with home coming," she said, listing spirit week, a community parade, the football game and the dance. SkillsUSA president Ethan Donaraj said the group ran a domestic-violence clothing drive, planned a pathway showcase for middle-school students and sent teams to regionals and nationals.
A district presenter announced that Mountain House High School earned the 2024 National Blue Ribbon honor and noted strong AP participation, regional and national music selections, and a top ranking for the Science Olympiad blue team. The board also administered the oath to newly seated trustee Samik Modi; the oath was recited aloud and the board welcomed the trustee.
