The board formally welcomed a list of new district personnel, with the district clerk reading hires across classifications including special-education instructional aides, ELAP instructional aides, noon duty supervisors, special-education teachers, social-studies teachers, food-service workers and instructional aides. Names read on the record included Sushma Baja, Suganya Chilai, Paratissa Matafa, Carl Nagel, Sanjita Narasimhan and others.
"Welcome to the Lammersville Unified School District family," the clerk said after reading the list and acknowledged possible mispronunciations. There was no board discussion and no action was required beyond the board's acknowledgment.
The hires span multiple campuses and functions and were presented as routine personnel items under the agenda's staffing report.
