Planner: Housing Element and Fair Share Plan open for state review; board may hear back by end of August

Ed Snieckus, the board planner from Burgis Associates, reported Aug. 6 that the Borough's Housing Element and Fair Share Plan — which the board previously reviewed, approved and submitted — is now open for questions and comments from the State. "...the board should know back by the end of August as to whether or not the board has any questions or comments," Snieckus told the Land Use Board.
Snieckus's update was informational; no formal action was taken on the plan at the Aug. 6 meeting. The board will await any state comments and respond as needed once the State identifies specific questions or requested clarifications.
