A village presenter (S1) introduced 'Eye of Work', an asset-management platform that maps infrastructure elements (signs, hydrants, manholes), tracks work orders and personnel hours, and stores historical maintenance records. He described the system’s ability to pin-site locations and said it would reduce administrative friction by centralizing complaints and work orders. "The yearly cost for just the street department would be roughly $8,000," he said.
Trustees asked about payment timing and whether the vendor would hold discounted pricing or allow monthly/quarterly payments. One trustee (S11) suggested asking the vendor whether they would split payments to spread the cost into the next fiscal year; staff said that splitting payments could make the purchase feasible, but a formal procurement decision would require budgeting and further review.
