Officials say DOT funding intact for Clinton Avenue bridge; land transfer stalled at attorney general

The chair (S3) said staff is working with state partners and the engineering firm and that DOT review comments are nearly complete. "It is a 95%, effectively funding match to our own 5% local contribution," the chair said.
Staff told the board the federal/state funds for the bridge remain available and that the village will lean on state partners to help the attorney general’s office expedite the transfer. There was no change in the board’s formal funding commitment during the meeting; trustees discussed continuing outreach to DOT and the village engineering firm to keep the schedule on track.
