Staff: Art in Public Places fund at about $761,000; mural maintenance under review

Staff also described maintenance needs for the downtown mural: resealing is part of a maintenance plan (reseal every two years) and routine cleanings cost about $3,000 per visit. Staff said they are exploring a contracted cleaning schedule that could include 8–10 cleanings per year depending on events and weather.
