The Southwest Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a consent agenda June 17 that included approval of minutes from May 20 and June 3, 2025; multiple overnight student trips for Southwest High School and Southwest Legacy High School volleyball teams and fourth-grade outdoor education; and several procurement items including a two-year extension of the district's bank-depository contract and awards for RFP 2425-126 (charter bus service) and RFP 2425-127 (kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs).
Board member Ida Sudolcan moved to approve the consent agenda and Florinda Bernal seconded; "All members voted in favor; the motion carried," the minutes state. The consent vote also covered approval to purchase the Frontline Education administration program subscription and consideration of an increase to the district mileage rate.
