Board approves consent agenda but tables 2025–26 Student Code of Conduct
Summary

The Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda at its July 15 meeting while tabling one item for future discussion. The approved consent items included minutes from the June 17 public hearing and regular meeting, the district's interlocal workers' compensation participation agreement with TASB Risk Management Fund, the 2025–26 Optional Flexible School Day Program for secondary schools, the district staff development plan, the 2025–26 memorandum of understanding with the Bexar County Juvenile Board, and approval of Communities In Schools of San Antonio for the 2025–26 school year. Trustee Ida Sudolcan moved to approve the consent agenda with the exception of item V.F; Trustee Daniel Carrillo seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Item V.F, the 2025–2026 Student Code of Conduct, was specifically tabled for discussion at a future board meeting; the minutes do not record the reasons for tabling or any proposed revisions. Public comment was not offered during the meeting. The board will need to place the Student Code of Conduct back on a future agenda for discussion and action if changes are proposed.
