The Board of Education voted 7-0 on June 18, 2025, to enter closed session for "self-evaluation, practices and procedures or professional ethics" under the Illinois Open Meetings Act, 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(16). The special meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. at Prairieview Elementary School by Board President Brian Liedtke.
Board member Megan DuPass made the motion "to enter Closed Session for the purpose of self-evaluation, practices and procedures or professional ethics stated in the Open Meetings Act - 5ILCS 120/2(c)(16)," which was seconded by Tiffany Watson. A roll-call vote recorded Yea from Steve Dlugo, Megan DuPass, Brian Liedtke, Adam Sage, Darren Spiegel, Tiffany Watson and Doug Wiley (Yea: 7, Nay: 0). The meeting record shows the motion Passed.
The special meeting later adjourned at 6:20 p.m.; minutes were entered ‘‘Respectfully submitted’’ by Maria Gannon, recording secretary. The board did not record any additional public actions before entering closed session in the available transcript.
