Macy Brower, assistant director of the Division of Property Assessments, told the board the division had reviewed reappraisal plans submitted by four counties for the 2026 tax year and confirmed that required information was on file and available on request.
Brower explained delays arose from local communication issues and, in one case, a county assessor's illness; board members asked questions about whether the counties could achieve their stated goals, and Brower replied that they were "on track". The chair moved to approve the plans and the board adopted the motion by unanimous roll call.
