Seguin ISD trustees voted to approve several professional personnel recommendations during their May 20 meeting, including the District Math Coordinator, Seguin High School Principal, Fine Arts Coordinator, and a Transition Coordinator. Each of those actions passed unanimously when brought to the board.
The item to approve a Director of Human Resources was pulled by administration and did not receive a vote. The meeting packet listed a broader personnel report earlier in the agenda describing multiple new-hire elections and a series of resignations effective at the end of May and through summer retirement dates; however, the board only took formal approval votes on the positions presented during open session.
