Committee opens; consent calendar approved after two bills removed

"Without objection, House Bill 2661 and 14 65 will be taken off the consent calendar," the chair said.
Clerk staff reported the roll-call result for the consent vote: "you have 20 ayes and 1 present not vote," and the chair directed that the approved bills go to calendar rules. The committee then proceeded through dozens of agenda items, using placed amendments and roll calls to send bills to the appropriate next steps.
