During petitions and communications the council approved several community permits: a half‑street closure for the annual chicken fry on June 5 (moved by Gene Skaj), a gambling license request for a raffle at the August 30 car show (applicant Randy Kruzel; motion by Steve Trobec), and a liquor license for St. Stephen Church's parish festival on Sept. 7 (motion by Danita Traut). Heather Imdieke will work with event organizers to complete any required paperwork.
Council discussion noted Heather will help applicants with forms and confirm required contacts with the sheriff's department for liquor licensing. All motions were carried unanimously.
