Library staff (S7) presented June statistics and summer program highlights, reporting robust participation across age groups. "In June, we had, 74 programs with, 20 hundred attendees, and we were open 306 hour open hours," the library staff member said, and reported nearly 75,000 total checkouts and almost 30,000 visitors at the Los Altos location.
Staff described standouts including repair-café outcomes (151 items checked in; 86 repaired on the spot), recurring master gardener and STEM programs, and staff service awards recognizing long‑tenured employees. Commissioners thanked volunteers and the Friends group for supporting programs and noted popularity of events like the repair café.
