Council approved an amendment to the professional services agreement with Boldman Mink Inc. to include design of a six-unit T-hangar at the municipal airport. City Manager said the design contract price is $62,000 and preliminary construction estimates are $1,301,150. "The design service contract is for 62,000," he said in presenting the item.
Staff told council that federal funding would cover 90% of the estimated construction cost, with state and city each paying 5%; the city's share was described in the meeting as roughly $65,000 and staff said rent revenue from hangar tenants would repay the city portion over time. Council moved, seconded and approved the amendment by voice vote.
