Undersheriff Shawn Schnoor gave the board a brief operations update at the Oct. 9 meeting. He reported the department spent time clearing debris from the first mile of the I-75 Business Loop bike path and is working to install in-car computers in squad vehicles.
Schnoor also said the "Welcome to Crawford County" sign contains a typo that is being corrected, and he announced the Flee and Elude 5K/10K scheduled for Oct. 18. The board did not record further discussion or funding decisions related to these items in the meeting minutes.
