Resident warns MDHHS competitive procurement could cut $500 million from behavioral health services

Resident Ruth Pilon used public-comment time to raise concerns about state-level changes to behavioral health contracting. Pilon reported problems with Northern Lakes Community Mental Health and the Northern Michigan Regional Entity and warned that the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services' plan "will dramatically reduce access to quality behavioral healthcare and an immediate $500 million cut in funds to provide services."
