Crawford County board adopts tentative agreement with Command Officers Association

The Crawford County Board of Commissioners voted Sept. 11 to adopt a tentative agreement with the Command Officers Association of Michigan following a closed executive session called to discuss litigation and labor negotiations.
The board convened an executive session to consider Case 25-727485-CZ and a tentative deal with the Command Officers Association. After returning to open session the board moved "to adopt the tentative agreement with Command Officers Association of Michigan," a motion that carried on a roll call vote with five ayes and two absences. The motion was moved by Commissioner Moore and seconded by Commissioner Kraycs.
The board also recorded "consensus to follow the recommendations of Counsel" on the related litigation matter. No further terms of the agreement were read into the public record at the meeting. The board approved the executive-session minutes and formally adopted the tentative agreement before adjourning at 11:52 a.m.
