Rachel Orr moved, and the Tisbury Finance and Advisory Committee unanimously recommended approval of the Harbormaster/Waterways warrant articles. Items recommended included patrol boat outfitting and equipment ($6,800), a storage facility ($23,000), dredging planning and execution ($125,000), abandoned vessel disposal ($2,000), technology and transaction services ($3,000) and town-owned mooring maintenance ($45,000).
The motion passed 5–0. The committee noted ongoing questions about the Dredge Stabilization article and whether to expand or eliminate it, and Nancy Gilfoy said she would contact the relevant staff for clarification prior to final recommendations to Town Meeting. As recorded: "RACHEL ORR MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE 2026 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING HARBORMASTER DEPARTMENT WARRANT ARTICLES ON WATERWAYS FUND PROJECTS AS PRESENTED; RUTH KONIGSBERG SECONDED; MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY: 5 AYES, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTENTIONS."
