Board approves HPG pre-application; housing director to apply for $100,000 preservation grant

Housing Director Hannelore Dysinger told commissioners she received $9,765.67 in administration fees from Roscommon County for 2024 program income, has closed FY2023 emergency projects, and is closing out one full rehabilitation project funded by Housing Preservation funds (the local money balance is short by $100). Dysinger said she will apply for a $100,000 Housing Preservation Grant to continue preservation work.
The Board approved an HPG pre-application resolution on a motion by Commissioner Kraycs, seconded by Commissioner Moore; the roll call vote was unanimous. Dysinger also noted public hearings are scheduled for Crawford and Roscommon county program incomes.
