Council directs ordinance drafting to rezone Lane Meadows to RS1; language due June 10
Summary
Following the comprehensive plan change, Sun Valley council directed staff on June 2, 2014 to draft an ordinance rezoning Lane Meadows to RS1 and to present that ordinance at the June 10 public meeting.
After approving the comprehensive plan amendment, the council discussed REZ 2013-03 and directed staff to prepare zoning ordinance language that would establish Lane Meadows as RS1 low density residential. Council President Keith Saks moved to have an ordinance drafted amending the zoning map as requested; the motion was seconded by Council Member Peter Hendricks and passed unanimously.
Council members and staff discussed scheduling; the council instructed staff to have the ordinance ready for the June 10 public meeting, at which time the mayor would be asked to add the item to the agenda for ordinance consideration.
