The Village of Cherry Valley Board of Trustees on Sept. 2 adopted ORDINANCE 2025-27 approving a variance to Section 82-10(C)(7) of the village code to raise the maximum permitted accessory building height from 15 feet to 22 feet for the property commonly known as 713 Clayton Street.
Trustee Mike Neville moved and Trustee Sally Hollembeak seconded the motion to waive the rules and consider the second and final reading. A roll-call vote recorded Mike Neville, Sally Hollembeak, Brandi Pearse, Scott Kramer and Carl Wedig as voting AYE; Trustee Nancy Belt was absent. The motion and the ordinance passed 5-0-1. The change amends the local zoning standard for the R1 (one-family residential) district for that parcel only.
