At its July 20 meeting, Orangeburg County Council approved a resolution to amend the Amended and Restated Multi-County Park Agreement dated May 17, 2010, with Dorchester County. The amendment authorizes expansion of the joint county industrial park boundaries and related matters; the motion was made by Councilwoman Deloris Frazier, seconded by Chairman Johnnie Wright, and passed 6-0-0.
Council did not record extended public discussion on the resolution during the public session. The amendment is a procedural step to permit boundary expansion under the existing intergovernmental agreement framework between Orangeburg and Dorchester counties.
