Council approves space-use and lease agreements with Council on Aging and CORE

Orangeburg County Council on July 20 approved two property agreements on second reading: a space-use agreement for a portion of 1404 Springfield Road (TMS# 0012-13-12-001.000) with the Orangeburg County Council on Aging, and a lease for part of 1250 Unity Road in Holly Hill (TMS# 0339-13-10-071.000) with the Community Organization for Rights and Empowerments (CORE).
Chairman Johnnie Wright moved approval of the Springfield Road space-use agreement; Councilwoman Latisha Walker seconded and the motion carried 6-0-0. The CORE lease was moved by Councilwoman Deloris Frazier, seconded by Chairman Johnnie Wright, and also carried 6-0-0.
