Ladd board approves wage increases for Deputy Clerk and part-time administrative assistant

The Ladd Village Board on June 23 passed two ordinances amending wage rates for clerk’s office positions. Village Attorney Patrick Barry presented Ordinance 1217, adjusting the wage for the Deputy Clerk/Utility Biller, and Ordinance 1218, adjusting pay for the part-time administrative assistant. Trustee Bernie Victor moved the motion and Trustee Jan Martin seconded; the measures passed with President Frank Cattani and the five trustees voting aye.
The ordinances were approved as presented; the meeting minutes record the vote as carried with one trustee absent (Brad Nicholson). The ordinances will take effect as provided in their texts and will be implemented by the Clerk’s Office.
