Ladd board approves small donations to local volunteers and church for volunteer work

"Trustee Nicholson motioned to donate $250.00 as thanks for the work he’s done at the monument," the record shows.
Separately, the board voted to donate $1,000 to Ax Church for volunteer work during Hope Week—repairing concession-stand cabinets, sealing and epoxying floors, and painting bathroom walls. Trustee Jan Martin moved the donation, seconded by Trustee Dan Nelson; the motion carried 6-0.
Both donations were framed by trustees as expressions of gratitude rather than programmatic grants, and no long-term funding commitments were made.
