The Robertson County Commission voted on a package of resolutions addressing school infrastructure, grant-funded stipends, use of opioid funds and other budget items. Bob Katz introduced a two-page resolution allocating $2,300,000 from the school general fund for a Westside roof replacement (Resolution 020226003); the commission moved and approved the resolution by voice vote.
Katz also presented resolutions to use state grant funds for youth court stipends (020226002) and to use opioid-related funds for repairs to an AV/AC unit on a county tower (020226004). The commission approved these measures after questions about grant duration and funding sources. The commission recorded voice tallies repeatedly with the clerk stating "I got 18 4 0 against that resolution passes," which the chair repeatedly announced as the motion passing.
Separately, a finance hiring resolution and a grant to EMS were approved; Katz said the commission expected $30,303 for EMS from a state grant (020226006). Other personnel and budget amendments were also handled during the resolution block. All resolutions discussed in this portion of the meeting were introduced, called for a question, and approved as recorded in the transcript.
