Superintendent Mark Kress and Principal Dave Dougal presented the 2025–26 Continuous Improvement Plan, noting that building principals and parents contributed to setting building goals, the literacy plan, and the College and Career Advising and Mentoring plan. The board was told the plan requires a formal motion before submission to the State Board of Education, with an Oct. 1 submission deadline.
Board member Larin Mortimer moved and Carol Hepworth seconded approval of the plan; the motion carried with all present voting aye (4-0). The plan will be submitted to the State Board of Education as required.
