High School Principal Ray Carter presented the district’s list of overnight and out-of-state trips that require board approval. The minutes note that IHSAA-sponsored state tournaments and many season competitions are considered regular trips; the board must approve trips that are overnight, out of Districts IV–VI, out of state, or beyond 250 miles one-way.
Principal Scott Corgatelli of Snake River Opportunities High School requested two specific trips: Oct. 20–24, 2025 to McCall Outdoor Science School and May 9, 2026 to Lagoon in Farmington, Utah. The board approved the regular, out-of-state, overnight and beyond-250-mile trips as presented; the motion passed 4-0.
