Supervisor Stephen McNally said securing fireworks for the coming year is difficult and that costs are expected to rise for the town’s 250th anniversary, noting the price could increase to about $25,000. He indicated ROOST Economic Development funds could be used to help cover the additional cost. The board recorded thanks to Greg Wright for assistance setting up Emergency Preparedness Committee radios and acknowledged meeting participation by Betty LeMay and Kathy Halloran.
Minutes do not include a signed contract amount or a final funding source allocation; the motion delegates authority to the supervisor to execute the contracts. The board recorded the authorization as Motion #298 and approved it 4-0 by roll call.
